CAPM Exam is changing

The new Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)®  exam will better support customers‘ career journeys by going beyond the PMBOK® Guide to integrate content across project management, business analysis, and agile.

The Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)® certification exam will be updated to reflect current market expectations of entry and associate-level professionals, positioning the certification as an essential first step in building a career in project management. 

Listed below is important information regarding the exam update:

• The current exam can be taken until 24 July. (based on the current Exam Content Outline)
• The new exam will replace the current exam on 25 July. The current exam will be switched off on 24 July 2023. If you have prepared for the CAPM exam on the new Exam Content Outline, you do have this exam now. 

The new certification exam will encompass 4 Domain Areas based on the new CAPM Exam Content Outline:

• Project Management Fundamentals and Core Concepts (36% of the exam questions)
• Predictive / Plan-based Methodologies (17% of the exam questions)
• Agile Frameworks / Methologies (20% of the exam questions)
• Business Analyssi Frameworks (27% of the exam questions)

The new exam will include 150 questions with a 10-minute break to be completed in 3 hours. It can be taken at a test centre or as an online proctored exam.

Since October 2022, our CAPM Preparation Programme has prepared you for the current and new exam in anticipation of the exam cut over.
