Business analysis has become a competency of critical importance to project management. Inaccurate requirements gathering consistently ranks in the top three causes of project failure yet only half of organisations have the resources in place to perform this function properly, according to PMI Pulse of the Profession® research.
This course is based on the PMIs Business Analysis for Practitioners: A Practice Guide. It is a complementary document to PMIs foundational standards. The practice guide guides applying practical business analysis practices to programs and projects and driving successful business outcomes. We will distinguish between the role of the Project Manager and the Business Analyst throughout the training.
The choice of business analysis practices and how organisations tailor what they implement depends on organisational culture, methodological norms, and how much change an organisation is willing and able to embrace.
Public seat courses are are delivered virtually - live Instructor Led via GoToTraining and Promote - our Learning Transfer Platform. Customer specific courses can be delivered virtually, in-person at our Training Academy or on your site.
